Endo symptom checker
Understand whether endometriosis is worth ruling out.
Screening only. Diagnosis is confirmed via laparoscopy. Your answers stay on your device.
Period pain should not run your life
Mild cramping on heavy-flow days is typical. Pain that disables you, spreads outside your period, or doesn't respond to standard painkillers is not typical. It's also one of the most commonly dismissed symptoms in medicine. Endometriosis affects roughly 1 in 10 women of reproductive age, and the average diagnostic delay is still seven years or more. You don't have to wait that long.
How endometriosis gets diagnosed
Symptom history + physical exam narrow the field. Imaging (ultrasound or MRI) can spot some endo lesions. The definitive diagnosis, however, is still laparoscopy : a keyhole surgery that visualises and can often treat the tissue at the same time.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a diagnosis?
No. This is a pattern-recognition tool to help you decide whether to book with a specialist. Endometriosis diagnosis requires a clinician and usually laparoscopy.
What's adenomyosis?
A related condition where uterine lining tissue grows into the muscular wall of the uterus. It shares many of the same symptoms and is diagnosed with imaging. If a clinician suspects endo, ask them about adeno too.
